Every year since 2001, Duck Brand duct tape holds a contest called Stuck at Prom for the best duct tape outfits created and worn by a couple at prom, with a total of 50,000 in scholarship money split between the winners and runner-ups. Membership of the Duck Tape Club is required to apply. The remaining runner-up couples all received $1,000 per person, resulting in an impressive $50,000 total distributed in scholarship money.
